Our Vision
HighPoint Charitable Services is a volunteer driven organization working to bring wholeness to the community, share the gospel and meet physical needs. HighPoint exists to meet the needs of children, fragile adults, the elderly, and families. HighPoint helps with resources to reduce the suffering of families caught in the cycle of hunger, poverty, and homelessness.
We accomplish this by providing services that meet basic needs (food pantry, clothing, household goods) and developing programs that address spiritual care and develop life skills such as financial counseling, student tutoring, and English as a second language classes. All of our services aim to be a way that we walk alongside clients in their journey and help them grow.
HighPoint is a special place. Clients come to HighPoint every week knowing they will receive food, clothing, and prayer. Our impact on the community is significant.
“…More importantly, I think many people come to HighPoint because they feel loved when they are here. In Matthew Chapter 22, Jesus tells us that the two greatest commandments are to love God with all that we are and to love our neighbor as ourselves. That is our mission at HighPoint. Our prayer is that God’s love takes our ministry and makes it more than the sum of its parts. Our desire is that He magnifies the work we do so that people come to feel and know His love for them, and be transformed. ”
